its rocky shores know me, just as i know them.
and they beckon.
they delight in spraying me with their refreshing cool waters.
grace pours down.
mercies cover me with their renewing droplets.

its sun over water beckons.
asking to be sought.
enjoyed.
marveled at.
delight taken in the beauty of creation, its splendor laid out like an artist's treasure.

do you have a place?
a haven?
a shelter from life's storms?

oh, how i wish this for you.
a place.
with people.
to live. to laugh. to love.

to unfurl your sails and let God's power move you.
to enjoy.
let go.
breathe deep.
restoration.

that's how i feel in this place, with my sister.

i get to go to my place.
soon, so very soon.
to celebrate.

ah, such sweetness.
my sister's birthday.
by my very own self.
